At some point while working as a front-end web developer with a focus on mobile, I learned the basics of SEO and wanted to put my new knowledge to the test. I purchased a domain and set up a single webpage. After a few months I did Google search and was pleased to see myself on the first page of search results! The website continued to deliver periodic leads to me over the next few years.

In 2013, no longer living in Seattle but still wanting to explore SEO, I converted the site to be a listing of Seattle pianists and other musicians available for hire in the area.

I was able to build this in WordPress in about a day.
